Journalism in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, we have been committed to supporting journalists reporting from Ukraine, who operate under immense pressure. These professionals deliver insights about Ukraine’s resistance to Russian military aggression, while adapting to extraordinary working conditions.

A major challenge that Ukraine is facing is preserving its media landscape and press freedom. Our efforts extend to not only cooperating with Ukrainian national media to anchor their work in the global context but also providing capacity-building support to regional journalists.

Accurate and quality Ukraine coverage worldwide remains of crucial importance, especially given the ongoing information warfare. Therefore, we facilitate opportunities for international journalists to enhance their expertise on Ukraine and foster connections with local professionals on the ground. This is because we believe in the power of stories developed in collaboration.

Feminism & LGBTIQ+

Gender and sexuality are weaponized in public discourse, distorting perceptions and deepening divides. We help journalists uncover authentic narratives and boost diverse voices in the media through a queer feminist lens.

(Dis)Information

Disinformation poisons public discourse and replaces democratic debate with polarization. With our journalistic formats we explore answers to this global challenge: sensitive to our own biases, but firm in our commitment to fact-based information and science.
