For two days, they discussed the challenges they face in times of war, including access to information, financial difficulties, and war fatigue. Together with Ukrainian media expert Otar Dovzhenko, the participants had a frank discussion about adherence to journalistic standards and the quality of content in regional media. Participants also shared small success stories of their teams with each other, which inspired others to implement such changes in their media.

Fight for Facts is a joint project of n-ost, Lviv Media Forum (Lviv) and Institute of Mass Information (Kyiv), that aims at supporting regional media in Ukraine in their fight against fake news and disinformation.

Over the course of 3,5 years, 16 media outlets from all over Ukraine will have the opportunity to strengthen their capacity and become even more valuable and trustworthy source of information in their regions.
