Investigative journalism is foundational to a free and open society. In an age of misinformation and impunity, it is more necessary than ever to support the work of investigative journalists — they are our frontline defence against corruption and abuses of power.
We're dedicated to supporting investigative journalism across and beyond Europe. Past projects have championed the right to freely access information as a tool for research. They’ve equipped journalists with skills to navigate the field in a digital age. They’ve broken down linguistic and cultural barriers, enabling global stories.
Perspectives and stories are enriched by cross border collaboration. Besides, in our interconnected world, investigative reporting has to transcend borders. We strengthen diverse voices to build a transnational community of journalists that work at eye-level.
Check out all the participating journalists listed here. This is what brings them together.
