I am deeply grateful to the n-ost program for giving me the opportunity to come to Kyiv and gain a deeper understanding of the country's reality. This is especially significant at such a pivotal moment in its history, with Trump further fuelling uncertainty. I feel that this experience will substantially enhance my work as both an editor and a reporter.
Jorge Raya Pons (World Editor, El Español)
Discussions on Ukraine’s military needs and civil society’s response were also included, with sessions featuring representatives from the Come Back Alive Foundation and the Third Assault Brigade. Journalists engaged with Ukrainian experts on energy security and internal affairs.
For me, it was a privilege to meet so many people from different parts of Ukrainian society. I learned a lot and will be able to be more pertinent as a journalist covering Ukraine.
Francesca Barca (Editor, Voxeurop)
