On 16 October, a panel discussion titled "Covering Ukraine: German Perspective" took place in Kyiv at Urban Space 500 (9 Hrinchenka Str.). The event focused on various aspects of how the German media approaches the coverage of Ukraine and Russia’s war against it.
The invited speakers reflected on:
- The specifics of the German media landscape;
- The range of media approaches to covering Ukraine and the war;
- German society’s perception of the war and its development;
- Personal experiences in covering Ukraine for the German media.

- Vassili Golod, journalist, editor for ARD.
The Kyiv Media Hub features expert speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and non-formal gatherings. It is open to all journalists and media professionals working in Ukraine.
