Since September 2021 Anneke´s main responsibility has been our project "Online Journalism, in depth" - but she is also involved in a broad range of fundraising and advocacy activities. Before she joined n-ost, she developed and implemented international projects at the European Academy Berlin. From 2011 to 2017, as a staff member in the Bundestag and the European Parliament, she wrote all kinds of texts, from press releases to speaking notes to plenary speeches. From 2004 to 2010 she worked as a journalist for Sächsische Zeitung (Dresden) and the Prague weekly newspaper Respekt. She studied and earned her doctorate in Regensburg, Hamburg, Brno and Berlin. Subjects: Political Science, Western Slavic Studies, Public Law.
