Hugo Dos Santos has degrees in modern history and cinema. After a career in documentary film, where he worked on the audiovisual archives of films dealing with immigration, exile, colonialism and workplace struggles, he turned to journalism.He has worked with France 24, Courrier International and RFI. He is also the director of the documentaries "Transit" (2021) and "Les mains invisibles" (2022). He now lives in Bulgaria, where he writes for various media stories focusing on the Balkans.
