Pia Sombetzki is a Senior Policy Manager at AlgorithmWatch. She focuses on issues such as algorithmic discrimination and the regulation of AI and platforms. She has been invited to speak to the German Bundestag and state parliaments as an expert on how AI should be regulated to benefit the public. Pia holds degrees in European Studies from Maastricht University and Sociocultural Studies from European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).
