Kristina Karasu is the euro|topics correspondent in Turkey. After studying applied cultural studies in Hildesheim (Germany) and Sassari (Italy), she worked as a TV editor in Hanover. Kristina has been living in Istanbul since 2010, where she works as a documentary filmmaker, film editor and freelance journalist for Deutschlandfunk, Welt, Vorwärts, Deutsche Welle , Arte and ZDF, among others.
