Karine Darbinyan

Karine Darbinyan is a researcher and data journalist with Ampop Media (Ampop.am), Armenia's first data reporting platform, where she has been working since 2016. She has both contributed to and authored a range of research projects and journalistic multimedia stories. In 2017, Karine enhanced her skills in data analysis and visualization through the Data Communication Fellowship at Georgia-based ForSet. She is proficient in data tools such as Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Datawrapper, Flourish, etc. Drawing on her experience, Karine has developed and delivered courses in data analysis and visualization to diverse audiences, including media professionals, CSO members, and government PR specialists.
