György Folk

György Folk is a seasoned Brussels correspondent and EU expert, one of the co-founders of the most-read Hungarian EU publication EUrologus featured on HVG and its satellite publications. He worked for several Hungarian and European media outlets, among them as the correspondent of the largest Hungarian economic weekly and its online, HVG.hu, the WAZ Mediagruppe, Euobserver, VoxEurope, and regularly contributes to the European Data Journalism Network cooperation too. In the past György gained significant experience in NGO communication for EU-wide NGOs in the fields of rule of law and democracy, climate change and energy, drug politics and social affairs, and disinformation. Furthermore, György has extensive multilingual content management experience and excels in working with web developers, translators, and social media professionals to streamline coordination and content production.
