Translator and Journalist
Based in: Kyiv, Ukraine
Translator and editor, her passion for Eastern Europe was born in Astrakhan, at the mouth of the Volga River, thanks to a year abroad with AFS-Intercultura NGO. Her studies in Slavic languages at the University of Udine and Tartu then led her to explore the realities beyond the Iron Curtain, particularly those of Russia and Ukraine. She lives in Kyiv since 2017 and collaborates with Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso and Valigia Blu. She is a founder of the outlet and association Meridiano 13. In 2022, she translated Olesja Jaremčuk's reportage “Mosaico Ucraina” from Ukrainian into Italian, published by Bottega Errante. She is also a translator for the CELA program.
