I am a journalist and researcher specialising in animal welfare, livestock farming, biodiversity, and wildlife. My investigations and features have appeared in outlets such as Belga, Apache, Knack, De Groene Amsterdammer, Follow the Money, EOS Wetenschap, and MO*. In spring 2024, I founded the Signal Animal Welfare Network, a platform for journalists to collaborate and support in-depth reporting on animal welfare issues. I actively welcome new members and collaborations. My work has been supported by Arena for Journalism in Europe, Journalismfund.eu, IJ4EU, Free Press Unlimited, Fonds Pascal Decroos, and deBuren. I am a Climate Arena Fellow (2023), alumnus of the European Collaborative Journalism Programme (2024), and participant in the Dark Green Programme (2025, Centre for Investigative Journalism). Alongside journalism, I have an MSc in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law (University of Winchester) and am currently pursuing an MSc in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem
