Several countries have introduced or keep going back to discussing laws against "foreign agents" or the so-called "LGBT propaganda.
Moreover, state pressure on the media and limitations on freedom of speech are intensifying. LGBTIQ+ people are actively engaged in these complex social and political processes, and queer bodies are at the forefront of political battles worldwide.
