My name is Siarhei Antonau. I am a journalist of independent Belarusian outlet Mogilev.media, covering the Mogilev region. In December 2023, after our website was declared extremist by Belarusian authorities, I was summoned for interrogation by the KGB and charged with cooperation with opposition media. I was evacuated by BYSOL and am now in Białystok under international protection. My son Artem was sentenced to 1.5 years in a penal colony on political charges — he has recently been released. Despite being blocked in Belarus, we publish daily. Our website is accessible via VPN and Tor. We are the only independent outlet systematically covering the Mogilev region — for readers inside Belarus and for the diaspora abroad. We have a dedicated section "Mogilevans in Exile". Beyond journalism, I am a fiction writer. My novel "Im Tunnel" was published in Germany, Poland, South Korea and Hungary.
