Oksana Savoskina

Oksana is a journalist at Hromadske, where she has been working for 6 years. She used to cover medical and human rights topics, but after the full-scale invasion, she started reporting on the war. Mostly she is doing videos about life near the frontline and stories about Ukrainian soldiers. She was shortlisted for the Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award 2024 for the film from city in the north of Kharkiv region near Russian border, which captures the terror and chaos as hundreds of people try to evacuate a city which is under Russian bombardment.
