After completing his studies in Sociology and European Studies, Markus gained international experience in Russia and Kyrgyzstan before working for two years at the International Office of the University of Halle-Wittenberg. Since 2020, he has been a member of the editorial board at novastan.org. At n-ost, he has coordinated several projects alongside his work in community management and event planning.
