Josh Axelrod

Josh Axelrod is a reporter based in Berlin covering the the rise of extremism and the tech that enables it. He also writes two science newsletters for Nature, exploring the global impacts of artificial intelligence and climate change. He came to Germany as a Fulbright journalism fellow to investigate far-right networks on Telegram. Before moving to Berlin, Josh reported on emergent tech for Bloomberg and the 2020 election for New Jersey’s Pulitzer-winning newspaper, The Star-Ledger.
