Jens Mühling, born in 1976, was an editor of a German newspaper in Moscow for two years, and has been working for the Berlin newspaper "Der Tagesspiegel" since 2005.His features and essays on Eastern Europe have won him several awards. The English edition of his book "A Journey into Russia" was shortlisted for the 2015 Dolman Travel Book Award. His second book "Black Earth. A Journey through Ukraine" was published in 2016.
