Freelance journalist and non-fiction writer specialising in long-form journalism and narrative features. She holds a graduate degree in the Arab Master's in Democracy and Human Rights from Beirut, equipping her with a deep understanding of the MENA region, particularly in the areas of human rights and forced migrations. Since the beginning of her career in 2016, she has extensively travelled and reported from Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, and Tunisia, providing insightful and compelling stories from these regions. Dalia was awarded a scholarship by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation to report on crimes committed in Syrian detention centres, allowing her to interview survivors of such crimes and former political prisoners from Syria. She has been selected to participate in the Milena Jasenska Fellowship to write about Tunisia, and she has been a two-time finalist for journalism awards.
