Cristina Coellen

Cristina is a journalist and video producer for Euronews based in Lyon, France. Originally from Austria, she has worked for a range of media in various countries, among which New Eastern Europe Magazine, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Le Nouvel Obs and ARTE. She has also won a Prix Européen du Jeune Reporter 2023 award, a French journalism prize focusing on solutions journalism. Her main areas of interest are armed conflicts, the intersection of climate change/the environment and conflict, as well as the Caucasus and Eastern Europe.
