Sinem Derya Çetinkaya studied political science at Frankfurt J.W. Goethe University. She wrote her master's thesis on democracy and minority rights at the same university. Working as a trade union expert and coordinator and carrying out various rights-based projects in Turkey for a long time, Cetinkaya's working areas are occupational safety, censorship-artistic freedom of expression and gender equality. Cetinkaya, who occasionally writes as a guest writer for Birgün Newspaper and Evrensel Newspaper, and works as a freelance translator, is one of the euro|topics Turkish translators.
