Jaroslav Rudiš

Writer 

The writer Jaroslav Rudiš lives and works in Berlin. He studied German, history and journalism in Liberec, Zurich and Prague and worked as a journalist for the Czech daily newspaper Právo. Together with Martin Becker he wrote the radio play "Lost in Praha", which was published on WDR. In 2008 the opera "Exit 89" by Becker and Rudis was premiered at the Divadlo Archa Theatre in Prague. In 2004 his first novel "Der Himmel unter Berlin" was published in German, in February 2019 his latest work "Winterbergs letzte Reise". His works take the reader on a journey through Eastern Europe and its history.
